Effective September 19, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Socket Sam, including the socketsam.com website, Socket Sam software, customer-facing links and portals, and Socket Sam communications. By creating an account, using the service, or choosing to participate in a Socket Sam messaging program, you agree to the terms that apply to that use.

2. Service description

Socket Sam provides business-management tools for repair operations, which may include customer and vehicle records, service orders, scheduling, estimates, invoices, payment workflows, reminders, service history, photos, signatures, communications, reports, and customer portals. Features may change as the service is improved or updated.

3. Accounts and authorized use

Users are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting credentials, controlling authorized access to their organization, and using Socket Sam lawfully. Users may not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, abuse communications features, or use Socket Sam for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or prohibited content.

4. Business and customer records

Participating repair businesses are responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of customer, vehicle, service, pricing, tax, estimate, invoice, and communication information they enter into Socket Sam. A business using Socket Sam remains responsible for its own services, workmanship, pricing, customer relationships, legal obligations, and communications.

5. Payments and third-party services

Socket Sam may integrate with third-party payment, communications, hosting, storage, mapping, vehicle-data, email, or other providers. Use of those features may also be subject to the provider's terms. Socket Sam does not guarantee the continuous availability of third-party systems or networks.

6. SMS/MMS Messaging Terms

Program name: Socket Sam SMS/MMS Messaging.

Message purpose: Messages may include transactional and customer-care communications such as appointment reminders, service-order updates, estimate or invoice notifications, payment links, approval requests, pickup-ready notices, account/service notices, and responses to customer inquiries. A message may also identify the participating repair or service business associated with the underlying transaction.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS/MMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-out

You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP. A final confirmation message may be sent to confirm the opt-out. After opting out, no further messages from that messaging program should be sent unless you later provide new consent.

Help and customer care

Reply HELP to the Socket Sam message you received for assistance information. Questions about a specific repair, appointment, estimate, invoice, or service should be directed to the participating business identified in the communication. Additional support information is available at socketsam.com/contact/.

Carrier disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier availability, network conditions, device compatibility, and other factors outside Socket Sam's control.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how mobile information and consent records are handled. Mobile opt-in information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Service availability

Socket Sam may perform maintenance, deploy updates, suspend unsafe or abusive activity, and change or discontinue features. We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

8. Disclaimer

Socket Sam is software for organizing business operations. It does not replace professional mechanical judgment, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, manufacturer repair information, safety procedures, or regulatory compliance obligations. Users remain responsible for decisions made in connection with their business and repair work.

9. Limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Socket Sam is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, third-party services, carrier failures, customer disputes, or business decisions made using information in Socket Sam. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or terminated for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, violation of these terms, or actions that threaten the service or other users. Users may stop using the service subject to any applicable subscription or payment obligations.

11. Updates to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions as Socket Sam, applicable law, carrier requirements, or service features change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current published version.
