SMS/MMS Messaging & Consent
Socket Sam messaging program disclosure
Socket Sam SMS/MMS program
Socket Sam is business-management software used by mobile mechanics, roadside repair businesses, and repair shops. Socket Sam messaging may be used for transactional and customer-care communications connected to service activity.
Messages may include appointment reminders, schedule changes, service-order updates, estimate and invoice notifications, approval requests, payment links, pickup-ready notices, account/service notices, and replies to customer inquiries. Messages may identify both Socket Sam and the participating business associated with the service.
Consent disclosure
When SMS/MMS messaging is offered, consent must be collected through a clear affirmative action. Consent is specific to text messaging and is not bundled into general acceptance of website terms.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
SMS consent controls should be presented separately and must not be preselected.
Opting out
Reply STOP to a Socket Sam message to opt out of that messaging program. A final confirmation may be sent after the opt-out request. Additional recognized opt-out keywords may include END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT where supported by the messaging provider.
Getting help
Reply HELP to the Socket Sam message you received. For questions about a particular appointment, repair, estimate, invoice, payment, or service, contact the participating business identified in the communication. See Contact & Support for additional information.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on service activity and the communications you request or consent to receive. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan.
Privacy
Socket Sam does not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS/MMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See the complete Privacy Policy for details.
Carrier notice
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on carrier and network availability and other factors outside Socket Sam's control.
First-message identification
Socket Sam messaging should identify Socket Sam in the initial confirmation or first program message and include the applicable frequency, message/data-rate, STOP, and HELP disclosures required for the program.
